The unit flashes light/dark non-stop, with a consistant beeping sound. Is it craping out? Is there moisture in the unit? Anyone have a similar problem?

Mine did that a year ago or so. I tried several things and finally decided to swap out the battery... that cured it! Dont ask me why but it worked and its been flawless since.

John,
I just got a 3500 back from Lowrance that was doing the exact same thing, well that and not shutting down with the power button. It was moisture damage. Call lowrance and send it in.

Hold in Page and Power when the unit is off it resets it without losing any waypoints. You will have to reset your settings
