Shouldn't be a problem. Biggest concern would be dropping a tool or hardware into the drink.

One thing that makes it a bit easier if you have limited access under the bow is to use some RTV on the nut and washers to stick them together on a box end wrench. Keeps them together, and from falling down into the bowels of your hull, when you are reaching in the by feel.

Good luck and don't drop anything over the side!. hehehe
