Water temps yesterday on the Cave were 80 deg's so my Muskie fishing here is done for till next fall. The Spring bite on the Cave this year strarted out slow to average with bad weather and cold front's one after another and then kicked into overdrive the last week of April. When the water temps hit 64 Deg's there were fish being caught all over the lake and river. My best day I had 7 fish under the boat and boated two , a35"er and a 36"er. At one time I had 2 fish under the boat at the same time A 35"er and a 40"+ fish the 40" fish followed a fgr.8 , 3 times before ducking under the boat and then messed with the 35" fish. both fish came back but only bumped the bait. On the bright side The Bluegills are just coming of the nest and on the feed. I now have fish in the freezer. Take Care Marv.
