I probably shouldn't give these away as I know people think some info is not for message boards, but I want to give back what I learned last year.

1) The Conklins will have lots of beer in their room near the end of the parking lot at the hotel. Once you get in there, they're too nice to ask you to leave.

2) Venison meat at the hideout is quite tasty. I would not miss Sue's sloppy joes if I was within 30 miles of the place.

3) Beaver tells funny campfire stories. If he's there, you should be too. He works blue after his daughter goes to bed, so keep that in mind if you're sensitive to that sort of thing.

4) Fish near the yellow slide and cast at the island after the big girl on the jet ski goes between you and it when you're fishing Crescent.

5) The blue cheese mushroom burger at that bar on that lake on the Three Lakes Chain is excellent and the waitresses are cute.

6) For Norm. After you and Shep go out the night before, remember to put sun screen on before 2:00 pm the next day so your cabeza grande does not become the north woods' largest tomato.

That should do it for you. Have fun.

Kevin

I sure wish we were going to be there, unfortunately Team RumbleKnott will not be present this year. All I can add to the secrets for success are as follows:

1. When ya think ya got enough beer, grab another case.
2. When ya think ya got enough ice, grab another 20lbs.
3. Throw the weagle by the red dock on Julia.
4. Drink til ya fall down, then sleep there.
5, When you wake up on the ground, get up have a V8 , and a gatorade, and do it all over again.

hmfff, secrets eh Kevin? Well, at least a few are safe yet. Oh, and if you hear blue collar comedy tour on the lake, Rick and Joe are nearby.

Have a good outing folks.

I kept the name of your super secret, super productive bait under wraps. Just in case we make it up to another outing sometime, I want you to be able to out fish everybody again.

Wait 'til they see all those yellow slides. It's gonna blow their minds, dude.

Taylor and I regretably won't be making the journey this year. We are going to limit our trips to later in the season, besides, we picked up a 7-week old black lab pup yesterday so she will be our summer project. I'm sure another comedian will step forward and carry the torch this year. If you only knew me when I was still drinking.....I wouldn't have ever had a kid, but I could have kept up the story telling until the Bud was gone. I'd rather have my daughter and a liver that still functions like it is supposed to. Let Steve take over, he could tell you stories about me.
You guys have a good time without us. That shouldn't be a problem.

I don't think it was the bait as much as getting out there at the crack of noon. LOL
