| We have a cabin in the south east corner of langlade Co. We are right across the road from Boulder lake and white Lake is right down the road. And about 4 miles from the "town" of Langlade on Hwy 55. As far as I know white and Boulder lakes have no musky in them, what lakes near by can I musky fish? Any help would be great! Thanks! |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | In the county in the Elcho/Summit Lake area, not next door but close enough to not be a hassle, is Bass Lake, Enterprise, and Moccasin. |

Location: Chicagoland | Enterprise is a tough lake b/c it gets so much pressure and pleasure boaters. It might also be wort it to head to Archibald Lake in Oconto which is no more than 15 minutes away from boulder lake. A scenic drive too. This lake can easily be fished in a day, but has many hidden reefs and weed beds which will keep you coming back. Some large muskie have been pulled out of here, but for the most part, there are mid 30's and 40's. |

At times yes, there is a lot of pleasure boaters, but if your out there during the evening, you could be one of two or three boats out there otherwise at times I've had the lake to myself. I wouldn't overlook this lake, it's got decent structure, good fish but also has Eurasian Mil foil so when leaving make sure you check your trailer! |

Location: Rhinelander | Try Roberts Lake....nice body of water with a 40" size limit last I checked and still close to you. Years past not uncommon to double on this lake quite easy. Can have a lot of pleasure boaters on the weekend.
Archibald isn't bad but haven't fished it in 15 plus years. Caught my secong musky ever on this lake as a youngster. (almost 30 years ago.)
If your heading as far as Summit Lake and time permits, do your self a favor and head all the way to Pelican.
If your concentrating on just the north-eastern area look up Wabikon-Riley...little farthur north but nice lakes and very secnic. |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Wabicon/Riley are good lakes, Keith does real well out there. I second Merckid's comments on Enterprise, and sure, Pelican is good, but it's solidly in Oneida County. |

Location: Watertown, MN | Boot Lake has some musky in it, that is about 10-15 east of langlade, Lily I has some fish, a few big ones too. ARchibald lake has some fish. Search Oconto County
