I just purchased two Lowrance LMS 520C GPS/Sonar units with the NMEA 2000 network system about two weeks ago. Everything involving the GPS is working great and I am loving it, but the transducer is not picking up anything. The depth reading is just flashing 60.3 constantly. Is there some adjustment that I need to make on the unit? I picked up another transducer today to make sure the transducer wasn't the problem, when I plugged that one in the same flashing reading was showing. Therefore, I am ruling out the transducer being the problem. I am now suspecting that either I have to make some adjustments within the unit itself, of which I don't know of, or the both of the units are bad. I find it hard to believe that both units are the problem considering everything else is working fine so far. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Greg

Call Lowrance Customer Service...they should be able to help you. I had a bad main unit last year....I ended up sending it in to them, and they replaced it. It sucked being without the graph for 3-4 weeks (it took that long because they no longer built the lms-335df, therefore, they had to re-build one for me), but it was nice when it came back in working order! Hey, you don't know the Sheperdson's from Burlington do ya?
