Posts: 4053 Location: Land of the Musky | Just got back from a great trip to Nungesser lake in Canada just North of Red Lake. Great pike and walleye fishing this year. Had a few slow days and two real hot days. Lots of mid 20" walleyes and a crap load of 30"-40" pike. I ran a test on one of my MAG SuperDs this year to see how many fish it could catch before it would fall apart. In about 4 hours of water time for one MAG SuperD I got a 32", 33", 35", 37", 40", 40" and a 45" (7 total) pike and my MAG SuperD is still a fishable lure! I am retiring it though as this is the best I have ever done with one lure on one trip. The 45" was the last one I got and I took a picture of the lure (see below) to show how well it held up. I also had three hits on this lure on the tail and back section. Tough buggers! Got my 45" fish caught while using my head camera too! My buddy got a 48" monster pike on a 5oz Cisco SuperD and my other friend got a fat 42" on a walleye colored 5oz SuperD. Lots of white fish and walleye in the lake so these fish have a lot of food. Great time! If you guys get the chance and like to pike fish take a trip up there. Lots of great lakes with a lot of big fish. Posts: 4053 Location: Land of the Musky | Thanks Joe. I think we all know how well pike can rip a rubber lure up real fast. Not sure how much money I have spent on lure to have hammer handle pike rip em up for me

Posts: 4053 Location: Land of the Musky | Yes, it is about 400mb big right now so I need to cut it down. Lots of nothing on both sides of the taping. I suck at taping with a head camera too. Learned that on my trip! LOL Need to wear a neck brace while taping
