Greetings,

I hate tying off to a dock with a nice boat if possible, but have to when staying at resorts in Canada/mn etc. I run a 690 Tiller and was just wondering which boat bumpers you guys would recomend using, that are least intrusive to the finish of the boat, and allow the best coverage/ease of use.

Thanks in advance!

Use the soft foam models. Stay away from the plastic bumpers no matter how spongy they seem, those will scuff the gel coat.

OK, thanks Steve. Now, are these soft foam ones you reference, like the ones seen in Cabelas that appear to be made from life jacket like material and somewhat fold over the gunwhale of the boat?

Thanks again.
