Location: Lake Tomahawk, WI
Just returned from a film stint in W.WI with Tanner Wildes and Jason Hammernick. With nights hovering around 30 degrees and bright sun during the days fishing was tough. Tanner put us on fish, however, yet we couldn't keep them pinned. We lost 8 muskies estimated between 38 and 45 inches, and landed 5 little ones. The fish were keyed in on twitched minnow baits, namely th Slammer 5" in bright colors, and were hitting while the lure was paused and rising. Wood was the hot structure. We had a ball, as fishing with Tanner and Jason always is. Now it's back to the lakes in Vilas.
