Hey bald, check ebay.They have been all over there recently..I was gonna ask what the big deal is with them anyway?? There has been alot of buying and selling of them on this board. I bought two when they first came out and have not moved a single fish on the dam things...

Mr. Bald Eagle, try using the search feature and searching for all posts about Manta's. Not only will you find some information about the production of the baits, but you will also find a lot of information about the uses of the bait.

Or check the River Run web site every so often:

It's a great bait and with the market that bait has right now, I'm sure River Run will likely produce some but I wouldn't be surprised if you see a price increase.

I ahve done a lot of checking and so have others to buy the brand or company. No such luck and from waht I have heard Paul is spending more time with da family and less on lures. The site has been down for some time now. Some lures are coming out or are out that are real close to the action and style of the Manta. Some guys here make a few so I am sure you can find a good lure that will fill your needs.

Who on here makes knockoffs? I have a ton of regular mantas, but I really want a 6" model..

I don't think any "knockoffs" are out. Just similar lures that do similar things in the water. That side to side glide action of the Manta is what I wasw referring to. So many lures...so little money with gas going to $4/gallon I doubt I will be "filling up" on many lures this summer...

There was a guy at the rockford show who had a 6" manta look a like, but I cant get ahold of him..I hear ya on the gas prices..
