everything's been way behind ... especially weed growth. lake temps. this past week have been low 60's ... strong south winds today are bringing heat for the first time so next week will hopefully be quite different and should be just the change we need to grow weeds and heat up the fish. i've been contacting fish, but narrow windows with slower gliding and topwater presentation near wood and brown cabbage ... some eaters but some territorial throwing of baits and just chasing too ... by next week hopefully we see a little more normal ... but i'll continue to locate new weed growth and warmest water ... panfish locations have been what i've been focused on for targeting active muskies.

i'm so ready for a warm night of fishing i can't stand it!!!!!

Small lakes have been picking up for us and have been our go-to right now. Be sure to check the basin even if the lake does not contain ciscos. Action has been very inconsistant, with ideal conditions leading to blanks, and east winds/cold making them move. Go figure.

Nelson give me a call this weekend I might have some time on Saturday to grab a beer and do some casting.
