| I just recieved my new Musky mayhem Super Model Double Cowgirl today and my grandfather is probably rolling over in his grave. Who would have thought the old 6inch squirrel tail Mepps bucktail he gave me 30 yrs ago would have morphed into this monstrousity? Has anyone had any experience throwing a #13 blade double cowgirl? Can I even call it a 'bucktail'? I use a diawa Luna reel on a 7.5ft Diamondback rod. Is this equipment stout enough? The blades on this lure look like full size salad spoons! |

Location: WESTERN WI | Better get a BowFlex & a trainer to get ready to throw that. Actually it does not pull much harder than a double 10, but the lower gear ratio the better of copurse, Just wait until u bulge it on a calm surface. The wake will cause personal watercraft to go airborne.
I feel that some sort of strengthening program would need to be implemented to prevent damage for a heavy dose of fishing with Pounders, I tried a few casts on the opener and I could hear my joints yelping with each cast. Just go Barry Bonds route if Pounders are your thing. BULK UP!
