Wondering if anyone can tell me what's up with this suick. Maybe a time when they were made like this? Just a customized bait? No one I know had seen one like this. It appears the body is able to break free from hook harness.

That's the old "pull away" model if I'm not mistaken. The theory is that when the fish strikes the bait falls away and all you have is hooks. The old suicks were bad hookers since they didn't have split rings and this was one of their solutions. I don't know if it's a collectible, but they stopped making them in the 80's if I'm correct.

treats is right- it was made for a while in the 70's, based on the mudpuppies 'river model' breakaway concept. kinda cool, and tough to find- you going to use it or sell it? would be worth some money...
