I haven't tried it in open water yet, but I suspect it will need some tweaking. Specifically the joints tightened up more than I had hoped they would when I applied the envirotex. I may have to open them up a bit to loosen it up, seems to bind. Other than that I think it turned out ok... a few new ideas for the next bait.

That's really nice. If you got envirotex in the hinges, it will probably wear itself out of there pretty quickly.

Took it swimming the other day, and it did loosen up a bit. It took a little speed to get it going, but it swims like you wouldn't believe just inches below the surface. I was impressed. Next one I may try a small lip to help the wobble off the bat.
