Any of you guys/gals use these? Saw them in Rollie and Helens and they look interesting with the double blades on the tail. They must make a pretty good noise during the retireve? Thoughts?????

The Lac Seul Turbo is a great tail spinner. Not sure of the techy reason but it seems that the additional fin allows the tail to start spinning at a slower speed than you would find with a traditional single fin tail. The Turbo also has a little brass tube running through the tail section that acts sort of like a bearing (bushing?) so there is no concern of wood warping etc. to inhibit the action. The LST has a different sound than most other tail spinning topwater baits too. Excellent finish jobs on them as well and tough as nails. I like the mini Turbo a lot too. It's been a lifesaver for me on some tough days.

Bret,
Pete nailed it. AHL baits are some of the best constructed baits anywhere. They are the "Timex" of Muskie baits, they take a lickin' and keep on tickin'! Steve

I love the Turbos. Not near as popular as the Top Raider but for me who owns both... the AHL turbo is way more durable and works easier and sounds better in the water. It doesnt fall apart after catching a few fish. My Top Raiders look terrible.... paint is flaked off, eyes missing etc. The Turbo's seem to look better after a few fish... they might need a slight tuneup on the blade after catching a nice fish but they are easy to tweak and very very Durable.
