Posts: 1504 Location: Oregon | I have an Okuma Induron and the anti reverse isn't working. It works fine a minute as you are retrieving line and then the reel handle will start spinning backwards. I can mail it in but was hoping that someone might be able to tell me how to fix it myself since I am in the dead center of our chinook season. Thank you! Jed V.

Posts: 1504 Location: Oregon | Steve, I'm looking at the schematic and don't see a "anti-reverse bearing". I do see an "anti reverse ratchet" and a "one way clutch bearing". Jed Edited by RiverMan 4/27/2008 11:25 AM

Posts: 299 Location: Ontario, California | I'll have to look, but I think that is a reel produced a few years ago. If so, I'll get you the upgraded bearing and the thumb screw sent out tomorrow. Shoot me a PM with your address. Mark

Posts: 2089 | That is EXACTLY why I want to get Mark in the boat this Fall. Not every once in awhile, EVERY time there's a question/issue/concern, he's right on top of it. Customer service is KING, always has been and always will be. Way to go Mark! You just saved a fisherman money, but more importantly, TIME! Steve
