| BONUS fish...unhooking my biggest smallmouth in my life. This 21" smallmouth smashed an undertaker.
The funny thing was...10 minutes later, I lost half way to the boat a "book end" copy of this same fish...Now that would have been something! |

| One thing I forgot to mention...the 21" Smally is 1" off the world record for unlimited line class release last I heard...
Nuts!
The funny thing is....That line class release "WAS" held by Bill Schwartz...then Mark Sankey got a 22" and holds the record (last I heard)....all on Pewaukee lake. Not too many folks use 60 to 80lb line to catch smallies...LOL[:bigsmile:] |

I HAVE been hexed by Slmr!!!!! He touched my boat in Webster....I didn't boat a fish this weekend!!!! I did blow one on a cobb but none for me in the boat!!!

To get rid of the Slamr curse.
1)Put about 50hrs on the water without boating a fish
Or
2)Wrap a towel around you head and chant "I want a muskie" in (Scott Jenkin's) pink thong while dancing the (Thick Shady dance) on the front deck of your boat next time you are at the landing.
I took option #1...and made trips to Cave run and the fox chain to rid myself of the dreaded curse.

| How do you go about getting a world record smallie release entered??? Just wondering. I have a handful of 21"s with 21.5 the biggest, and my buddy had a 22 about 5 years ago.
Nice opening weekend. Dad and I could only muster 3 in the boat Sat. only one legal. Did lose a nice one tonight. |
