| I started out with an SS Shad, no dice. That SS Shad is begging to get eaten this year, maybe in a couple of weeks. Only action I've had so far this year was on a custom spinnerbait. |

Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | Small Glide bait typically a smuttly dog, cobbs or magic maker. Really depends on the conditions. Basically downsize and slow down to start. Some days baits work like a large lipless rattle bait, small bucktail, mid size topwater, small twitcher, small crank. Some days summer and fall patterns work too. Depends on the conditions and bite. |

Location: Ontario | Same as every Opener, 10" bootail, 10" jointed Beleiver, 10" Jake (trying a squirrely this year), #5 Vibrax French/#8 Vibrax Fluted, Thunderhead, Jackpot, 10" Suick, Outkast, Perchbait. New arrival this year is a Wave Walker. Trolling or casting with most of them, Good luck to all. Gotta wait til June 21 up here this year. |
