| Just got my Twitchers today....thanks TR.
Who can give me some tips on what to expect from them and how to use them best?
Short, sharp snaps? Light soft taps? Stiff rod or one with some 'give' in the tip?
Thanks,
Beav |

| Mr. Tale,
I used my TR "BIG LOuie" this weekend and used an St. Croix Avid 6'9" HP.
I lightly tapped the big Louie lightly and got superb action all the way back to the boat approx 1 1/2 feet down. If I tapped harder and it would get down 3- 3 1/2 feet or so. I was working it rather quickly... I received a few follows and a bonus pike for my efforts while the others did nothing.. Good luck in your quest and I hope you're not still walking down the hill when the younger versions are already at the next herd.

| I have only been able to use mine once but i found these things jump all over the place. Seems like the harder snaps of the rods get them acting like they are on crack. |

| Beavster...the Louie can also be used on the steady retrieve w/ enticing wobble...I used that + a regular TR this weekend...no skis but the smallmouth found them fascinating! No skis 'cause there aren't many where I was + in a 22,000 acre lake a skiff + a 25 Evinrude can only cover so much water....[:sun:] |

| Why thank-you Mr Cady. Were you using them at the test pond at your new grammar school? An actor you are not....not even behind a keyboard.
I WILL be walking down the hill with my partner while you are panting on the ground with your tongue hanging out begging us for our Viagra!!!!
Thanks for the tips.
So soon we get old, so late we get smart!

| I usually do 1 to 2 foot rips of the rod and do not reel in the slack real fast and it seems to work for me, but you can't hardly work them wrong. jlong and Jomusky have some great ways to work them also.
