Muskie Fishing -> General Discussion -> Sloppy Pig Question

How many of you own a sloppy pig? I bought one before I found the musky boards. I remember guys saying the hooking percentages where pretty poor. I wanted to know if you had many strikes on the sloppy pig ,and if you did any modifications that improved your hook ups. I just added a 5/0 hook to the single using shrink tubing,( kind of like on a top raider)to hold it out straight. Do you it'll work? Let's not turn this into an Odessey bash fest.
Thanks in advance.

I've heard both good and bad. I think your modification should help your percentages. I've got two and use them occasionally but I prefer the Frogzilla.
Have extra skirts handy as those can be lost.

WOW! I thought you were talking about my X-more like "sloppy bit$h". Keep her away from your fishing buddy/best friend. I still miss him []
