I have 2 used welding liners that are perfect for tying bucktails on. All you do is pick them up or pay the postage and they are yours.

How do you tie on coils I have a older model regal vice and a cheapo vise do I need to get a adapter for coils ? Or is there some easier way to do it ? I work at place that does a lot of welding and I can get all the coil I want it's in the trash all the time .

I have never tied a bucktail, I brought these home from work last year with intentions on learning to tie a bucktail but that never happened.

I have a cheap vice. I bend one piece of the coil so it as at a 90 degree angle from the rest of the coil and put that in my vice. I've tied over a 1000 of them that way.
