Very nicely done.

These lures y'all in here make are about one of the most impressive and pleasing to look at artforms I've seen in a long time.

Every time I check the gallery on TU, I hope that there are more lures posted by you. While you have a very distinct style, looking at your lures provides inspiration for my lures, even though they do not end up looking anything alike. Keep doing what your doing.

Wow Fatfingers, nice stuff as per usual! I have to say that the triple treble stick bait (#5 photo) would KILL the pike on my favourite trophy lake in October, as well the last shad pattern would do awesome on the large walleye in said lake as well. Nice stuff!

wow, those lures look awesome. I have one question though about the top bait. Unless my eyes decieve me the front hook is on the side of the bait while the belly hook is on the bottom. I could not see the tail from the side banner, still looked like a beautiful bait, i was wondering about the hook placement.

Good grief, you guys make me feel like a million bucks. Thanks!

Todd M, I'm not sure why the photo is covered by the ad, but here it is again with a belly shot too. I've been told that some states don't permit 4 trebles on one bait, so I'm going to make a stainless steel flaptail for the rear of the bait:

I'm scrambling to get the tackle box filled. Lol, man, my shop is a disaster; needs a good clean-up.

I have a few more about done. Here's another of my Palm baits in foil, with a tiny painted gill slash, bent Lexan lip, seven coats of envirotex. Hope you like it. These things run super. I can't wait to start casting and trolling them.

Guest, send me a pm, if you would.

mmclain6106, I use a 1/2 acid brush. I crimp the end to prevent any loose bristles from getting in the finish and before I begin, I fan the bristles to remove any dust particles. I use a clean brush for every coat.

Through-wired cedar wake bait with custom pearled eyes. This thing took a long time to build but I'm really happy with how it runs. I'll probably add a much bushier tail to it:

Deep-diving crank in a variation of Tennessee Shad. I call these "Flateyes, similar to a Legend Perch, but modified as to the body length and width and carved from poplar:

There are no finer scale and gill details out ther than yours PERIOD. Those are some truly amazing lures and it is the whole package from assembly, to paint, to finish. I know it is a Fatfingers lure as soon as I look at it.
