| Anyone have some success on this chain? I'm thinking about giving it a try in early October this year. Don't need anyone's secrets just a thunb's up or down. Also since I stay in the Chetek area, if there are places I could dock my boat for a week since I'm kind of lazy and don't care to pull it out of the water everyday. I'll be more than happy to pay the docking fee. I've got the map and it looks like good water in fall. Kdawg |

Location: Eau Claire,WI | Good place as any...There some decent fish in the system.One nice thing about the chain is it is close to some other muskie lakes.If Island isn't going,pick up and try another.No idea about docking. |

| I actually grew up in Chetek and fished the area lakes many times for muskies. This is one of my favorite lakes in the Blue Diamond area. This chain of lakes is loaded with all different kinds of structure from weeds, rocks, wood, deep, shallow and open water fish. This time of the year you will have success fishing deeper weed edges and dragging suckers while you cast different areas. Also don't over look trolling some of the steeper break lines that the chain of lakes offer. There are some real nice fish in this chain of lakes.
