| Holy big fish already this year around the country!!
New Jersey, first 50"er
Illinois, first 50"er...2 very nice fish caught out of the fox chain last weekend, surprising lots of peeps.
New Indiana state record
Kentucky state record broken last fall with some piggy's caught recently too.
Pennsylvania,record nearly broken.
I'm thinking there was another state that broke a record or came close too??
Wis, minnesota, Canada seasons yet to open. This is a great trend in the musky world if it continues this season. Just think what could be in store for us next Fall!!!

| I'm hoping that this will be the year for me in Canada. I fished in my Pa's boat last year and marked a map. 20+ years of knowledge for free. I'll get that monster yet.

| If I remember right...
According to John Casselman (cleithrum study guy), big fish are born in El Nino years. 1983 was an El Nino year. The girls are growing up and I think, if Casselman is right, the next five years are going to be great for big fish.
That 62# Freak from Georgian Bay recently? Born in 1983.

| I believe that this is a trend that will continue for years to come. We are reaping the benefits of years of catch and release, and strong fish management programs. Pat ourselves on the backs, Ladies and Gent's, we've done well.[:)] |

|
| Can't wait till season so many 50# + fish available, that 70# will be caught soon enough. I've been told the MNR have seen and "shocked" fish that are that size, its only time. But ya gotta come to Canada!
