Was at the MN Muskie Expo on Friday. Seemed to be bigger and better than ever. Lots and lots of great stuff as well as being very, very busy. Double Cowgirls selling like crazy as well as all of the knockoffs. Must be ten or twelve different imitations out there now. Might try to slip back in on Sunday for a little while with another buddy just to take another look.

There is a lot of awesome show customs. Especially the Cowgirls, Curly Sues, and I think the new Pacemakers sold out by 8pm. Good thing I got there early

Just got home from the Expo.  WOW!!!  First time down there and wanted to just pitch a tent and camp out.  Talked with Keith, Chad and Matt at the Llungen booth and picked up a custom DC-10, which is going to call in some hawgs!  Got a new Bobbie bait as well......IS THE ICE GONE YET????  The DCG's were going like crazy, long line waiting to have some customs made up.  Was busy, but talking to the guys at the show, they said Friday was crazy busy.  Had my 7 year old with me and if he would have gotten his way, we would have dropped about a grand on lures!  Little guy wanted 1 of everything and 2 of most.

Was definately worth the trip down, now I need to get out in the boat!!!!!

I bought 2 books (the Larry Ramsel Compendiums), a shirt, that hook pick thing, and 9 lures and paid a guide fee in advance. I'm around $600 poorer..but man, I have some cool new toys!

I was there today and it was a painful day... 2 pairs of H3o sunglasses, 4 JAW baits, One double bladed tail for bulging, a book and sweatshirt at muskyhunter, and a lakewood monster. UGH...sucks when the wife likes to fish right along with me. She gets the 4 of the baits, a pair of glasses and the sweatshirt...

Then...I get home and start going through baits, and placing them in the new box....and I don't have enough room!!! I stuck 72 baits in there, and every slot is taken, and I still have more to go... My spinnerbaits are not in there!! I even put my smaller spring baits into the plano box.

I even will have baits going up for sale just to get rid of some so I don't try to somehow fit them in. Man...never thought I'd see this day, but oh well...its only taken 28 years to get to this point.
