Jason,

Some clarification, please....

Am I correct in assuming that I cannot take two or more different non-board-members on as teammates during the course of the tourney? In other words, if I fish with a non-registered board member in the first round and we win, that same guy/gal is the only guy/gal who I can fish with in the second round? Just want to be sure of all the options. Thanks!

Jason, I'm pretty sure you can count me in too. Gotta confirm partner though.

Ranger..

I would work out better if you had the same partner for each round.

Is it fear as to why people aren't getting into this? Just kidding, really all it takes is one day/month on the water, of course coordinated with another team, and you're good to go! Tell me you guys don't fish at least one saturday a month! If you're thinking its stupid to go up against the pros...what is your investment, versus what is your potential for pride gain? Just try it, you'll like it!!

I'm in. I'll use my anchor, I mean brother as my partner. I can usually coax him in to riding along for a muskie trip.

Jason,

Your innovative MF Match Fishing idea sounds as if it will be a "big time" success. Although I have yet to contact any of my regular Musky Bros, with the exceedingly high entertainment and bragging potential of such an event, there can be little doubt left as to whether the Ohio, Kentucky,Indiana (Tri-State area) will be represented. Count us in for at least one team, possibly a couple more, as I spread the word down here in my neck of the woods.

Just to make sure...
NO sign-up until 8:00 p.m. Wed. May 1st.
Seeding based soley upon order of sign-up 5-1-02
Matches start in June
One-and-out type format, last team standing takes all.
Winner to be declared MF Champion for that year,to include (but not limited to)ALL associated bragging rights.

Team "Fin-Addicts" hopes to see a full board Wednesday evening as we look forward to the upcoming challenge. Are there any other teams from near or below the Mason / Dixon Line? MI Chapter 42 or 45 members looking to hook-up? It may be possible to partner you with someone if you are interested in helping to represent our fair region of Muskiedome in this upcoming "titantic" struggle. Let me know here,ASAP. I will see if I can help you get it done.

It's not exactly a match challenge, but the Battle of Oukachee is the 18th....a pre-lim to the full season's battle. I know me and Musky Fever and facing off against Jason "The Dwarf" Smith and Corey "$1 Bill" Painter.....and I believe Setme31 and someone. Who else is in??? Early, early, early start (do I hear 4AM???) on Oukachee, moving to Oconomoc later in the day.

Slamr im in,what are you doing for the opener. Are you comming up to my pond to fish with the IL boys against our club. Someone has to help them,we cant win every year or can we. As for the may 18th im looking to hook up with Bill Schwarts or Mark Sankey. Who ever contacts me and wants to kick some a$$,both should be on line today.

It's official, me and Sluggo are in. No team name yet.

One question???

If we fish on a day when one of the team members has to work... can you fish solo for part of the day and then together later????

And the judges say?????

Theedz,
I'll have to run it by the Dwarf, but since it doesn't appear to give you an advantage to go 1/2 day solo, and 1/2 day with someone, no reason to say no to that. If you can fish a day solo and be counted, why not a 1/2 day solo and a half day together. The point is to get as many teams in as possible without giving any overt advantages.

I would like to participate as well.

I have no partner, unless there is a willing soul that would like to take the challenge with me. I usually fish Pewaukee in the South, and Pelican in the North. E-mail me if interested: [email protected] Most of my fishing buddies decided they have better things to do.[:(]

EsoxMD,
I think there are going to be a large number of solos....just get in man!!! If a solo can outduel a team, then they are THE MAN....at least for that day!

Slamr,

I will be in regardless. I have been fishing solo for years. The only hard part will be the picture with a utensil? I will just have to set up my digital on a tripod.
