| I recently got a squirrely jake in a northern pike color and thought it would be a great color. It seems like this color always sits around on the shelves and never moves. Has anyone found this to be a productive color, or have you found it to be a dud? |

Location: Mauston, Wisconsin | Elkman- Don't be afraid to throw it! I've done very well with northern pike pattern Zam's. If the color pattern is correct you should have dark back, NP spot's on sides and white belly, i.e., a very flashy lure. This is one of my favorites to throw. Ask Ranger!

Location: Lake Vermilion Tower, MN | I have several Pike pattern baits that have caught Muskies for me. One of my most productive Pike baits is an 8" grandma, it's caught a number of Muskies over the years.
I had a couple made by Hoosier Hand made muskie baits, that have been very effective for me. I guess where you fish has something to do with just how well they work. Gliders and cranks in Pike patterns, seem to be the most effective for me. |

Location: Land of the Musky | I do like that Grandma with the holographic pike pattern. The Jake pike/hololgraphic is a lure that I based one of my Super Cisco designs on. Really like that look. Musky Mania has some great color patterns let alone a great lure!

Location: Racine, Wi | I've done well into June with pike colored baits. They really shine as throw back baits for me, but I have had good action early on with that pattern as well.
Also, it seems to do better on overcast days, however I've gotten some good fish to eat them in the sun as well.
I haven't done as well in the fall on them, so I don't know if the young pike are bigger now and not a key food source, or if I'm just throwing different colored baits in the late summer through fall. |

Location: Port Washington, WI | I have a small soft tailed phantom in pike colors. I think it was a show color from last year. It almost never fails to move a few fish even when nothing else is. I just can't seem to get them to eat it. I am sure it will get eaten sooner or later and I will definitely keep throwing it. |
