Location: On your favorite spot

Staying for a week in August with the girlfriend and family. Long shot here - I know pike and lake trout swim in this lake. Any suggestions on how to catch anything? I may not have access to a boat.

I used to live out there, never fished for the pike, but always heard that anywhere that cool water came in was a great spot to start. There's a website out there for all the pike fishing out there, they have some BIG pike....
