Well, I got into muskie fishing last year (2 41's, 45, 46, and 48...it was great) in the twin cities and I can't wait for 6/7 to kick off year #2. But, I'm in the market for a new reel to replace my p.o.s Shimano Corsair which is headed for the trash. I checked out the Abu RCN60HC at Cabela's and thought it was a great reel and seemed similar to the C3's I use and work great. However, I love throwing my double 10's and I did not like my C3's with them. I know the RCN60HC comes with a power handle which will help bringing them in, but the double 10's seemed like an awful lot of lure for the C3's and I wonder if it is going to be the same for the RCN60HC. I don't want to buy the thing only to wear it out right away. So can the record hold up? If not, I will probably go with the big game.

I can't speak from experience on the Record. But my Abu Garcia 7000C3i has performed great with the big blades and big rubber baits. It's in the same price range that you're looking at as well.

I agree with Aaron on the 7000iC3 for dubba 10's. Lot more durable than the 6500 and the Record RCN60, and with its 4.1:1 speed, handles these baits with ease! I like mine a lot. You'll get a lot of responses from people with their favorite brands, but I really like the 7000iC3 for hard pulling baits.

If you are considering one of these reels, be sure to consider their weight at 21 oz compared to a RCN60 at around 13 oz. That may or may not play into your consideration, but a half pound difference in a reel can be significant to some.
