Hey guys,
I still haven't received my boat and really missed out on the Challunge Tourney. I am really interested in seeing some pictures that you guys took from the event and I am sure some others are too. So I thought it would be a good idea for you guys to post yours pics for everyone to see.
Thanks

It was so wet and rainy I bet you wont see many pics at all.

But I would really like to see the pics of the 46.5 and 47 caught by the winners here on site.

Jason,
I definately want to see the pictures of the winning fish. From what people say the 47" was a PIG. I'm gonna cry if it's the same fish I have lost 2 times in the same spot not very far from Tourney HQ. Anyone know which lake it was on? Just happy to see there was a good tourney though.

Phil,
Both fish caught by the winners were on the north end of Katherine. They were boated before 8:00am. I happened to start 38th and couldn't find a spot to fish on either Katherine or Channel first thing in the morning.

Oh well, better luck next time.[:(]

I wonder how the guys who won it found a spot? They started at 97!
The team that finished 2nd last year, started at 125. I understand the winning team was fishing rattle traps. Anyone know what size and color?

Maniac,
You just broke my heart, I am on the verge of tears after hearing where they were caught...NAILED IT ON THE HEAD! [:((] I lost 2 last season over the mid 40 mark.

Backlash,
What are you trying to say, that I should have just cut guys off to fish a spot? That might be something you would do, but I'm a little more respectful of my fellow fisherman.

Phil,
I know the 47 was caught on a red rattle trap, but not sure what the 46 was caught on. Rob commented to me that he has them for sale at his bait shop for $5.00 - lol.

Musky Maniac

That's not what I was saying. I wanted to know where they found a spot. Better yet, what spot. I had the same problem. I went to Bluff first thing. By 7:30 there was 25 boats there. I had to leave to find a place to fish. I did find it interesting that such a high number, did so well early. I understand FRV is talking about cutting it back to 100 boats next year. Thanks for the info on the rattle trap. Sorry about that.

Backlash:

Who told you the tourney was scaling back to 100 boats?

The chapter is currently in discussions about improvements. We noted several issues which need attention. The problem with a successful tourney is success breeds new problems that may not have been anticipated. Clearly we were not aware of the dual booking of the facility which created many of the problems. The others we will address in the next couple weeks.

Backlash,
Not a problem.
I may have misinterpreted what you were saying. [:)]

Good luck!
