Location: Southeast Wisconsin | Speed with a 115 is around 37-39 by myself and around 32-35 with 2 other people. You can add the power steering and a 150 to that boat no problem. Personally, I think the 115 is just a tad under powered for the boat, but it still planes out easily and gets me to where I want to be. I was going to upgrade to the 150,but the whole reason I bought this boat was to conserve on gas. I used to have a Triton TR-20 with a 200 V-Max and I dont really miss the power over the gas mileage I get with the 115.
Something else to consider is the extra weight it will add to the back of the boat. 2003 620T were rated for a 125. Dont know if that will be an issue, but I think that my 620T sits too high in the front with the 115 and a T8 kicker as it is.. |

| I think the coast guard label on the '03s only allowed for 125 hp. You might have hard time finding a dealer that will put a 150 on it even though the newer ones allow for it. Insurance might be hard to come by as well. I looked into getting one of these in 2003 and 150hp was not an option. The biggest motor available to me was a 125hp merc 2-stroke. |

Location: Otsego, MN | It may just be easier to go with purchasing one with a 150 already on it. The whole coast guard label may be tough to get around. My speed with mine was tops 38 by myself, with a 150 you may get 50 mph depending motor type, load and prop. |
