| I don't need all the how-to's and specifics while watching muskie vids...but..what I DO like...which I totally realize and understand is hard to catch on film all the time....is sitting and watching a video of a person muskie fishing....they're making their cast(s) and then catching and seeing that moment on film as that fish hits! I love watching people get caught off guard when a fish hits and seeing that rod bending! Same with watching some vids of guys trolling...it's awesome to be catching the moment on film when one of those rods bends back and the drag starts screaming.
I realize those are tough moments to catch on film probably mostly due to the fact that there are those long lulls in action and the camera is not running when those moments happen...and then once the fish is on, that initial moment of the fish hitting, then the camera gets turned on to start filming..is when/where and how we then see what's left of the fight then leading the fish to the net then raising the fish for the camera.
Those of you that are shooting/filming/editing muskie films..if you're editing out those exciting moments of when the fish hits....please leave that stuff in there! That's some exciting stuff. Those are the moments I love most while out in the boat as well...those initial strikes.... |

Location: Madtown, WI | I think the badfish boys do a good job...a good mix of education and action. I like as much of Mark telling what he is doing and why as I can get....guy knows how to catch fish and I like to hear how his brain is working...
Then throw in the action...
Good vids for my buck.
