| Hey folks, just drove down to check out the lake and the landing. The mapquest directions are NOT correct. They say to turn left (south) off of 18 onto Cardinal, it is actually McIntosh Rd. Once you head west on 18 from the motel, pass the Ventura sign, there will be 2 large brown buildings on the right hand side. Turn lafe there onto Mcintosh Rd, go to end, take right and then quick left into McIntosh Park. Really nice landing, 2 bays, lots of parking.
The wind was howling into the launch and looked pretty muddy, but on the other side of the peninsula the water color wasn't too shabby. Could have a Cave like situation, 1/2 mud, 1/2 not too bad. See you guys when you get here, should be a great time.[:bigsmile:] [:bigsmile:]
