| If any of you guys grow habaneros, chile or jalepeno peppers, BE CAREFUL if you have kids!!! Some dried peppers I had on the deck blew into the yard this afternoon + little sponge tried to plant them...somehow he got some of the capusin(pepper oil) on his lips + was screaming like a banshee...took me 10 minutes to figure out what wrong...to make matters worse, the ice cube in the wash rag stuck to his upper lip + peeled part of that off...sponge babe walked back from the river + freaked...w/ all the other stuff kids can get into you might want to keep hot peppers out of their reach! | When I was in HS some of the bullies would take those little red hot peppers and slit them and come up behind somebody and smear it on their lips. I heard it burned like hell. |

| Perhaps the first rule of hot pepper handling - keep out of the reach of children. The second rule and just as important - wash your hands well after handling hot peppers and BEFORE using the bathroom! ooooweeeee! m[:0] |

| Hate to admit it but I forgot the second of your golden pepper handling rules once. While my wife found a large amount of humor in my discomfort, I did not laugh at all. With out a doubt my most uncomfortable gardening experience. |

| A freind of mine is a Chef at a Downtown Hotel he states that the only thing that will cool off your mouth is to drink some milk and eat bread these absorb the heat producing oils, Water & Beer only spread the oils around making a bad situation worse
Personally I like it HOT!!![]
