Posts: 2024 | Loaded question. I have favorite baits... for certain conditions and certain lakes. Wood: SS Shad Shallow Rocks: Shallow Invader Open water/anything deep: Mag Dawg or Curly Sue Weeds: Cowgirl/DC-10/my own homebrew double 10 Thick weeds: Rad Dog or Llungen Nut Buster (mag willow) Throw back to a big fish: Hoodini (walk the dog topwater w/ grub on back) or Llungen Squirko Canada (LOTW) top 5: Suick (orange/black dot), double 10 bucktail (something with orange/red/chart or silver blades), Top Raider, Shallow Invader (gold shiner or hot walleye), Hoodini Look at the situation before you and base lure decision that way.
