I have a Merc. 9.9 tiller and was wondering if there is a way to control the speed from the consoul; i'd like to add another throttle lever. I have the tie bar but just can't control the speed from my seat and it is a pain to run back and forth.

Ditto! Get the TrollMaster Pro. It has the MFT button, momentary full throttle. Use it to speed up a sharp turn, vary the speed for a triggering moment, and to help set the hook on a strike.

I opted to do the shift and throttle control from console by installing levers up front. I believe i got all of it for $85.00 from twin city outboard and in a couple of hours it was all hooked up with full shifting and throttle control. They sent an old box, which i cleaned up and painted and installed all the cables and hooked them up myself, really turned out to be pretty easy to hook up.
