Looking for a lodge/resort that has the best-equipped boats for muskie fishing. (Bow mount trolling motor, deck, electronics, etc.) Looking at LOTW/Eagle/Wabigoon. Any recommendations would be appreciated! (I know AML is one answer - others?)

Thanks!

Herbie's place has great rental boats.

Big, good trolling motors, 4 stroke outboards, etc...

Check out AML

Can't speak for all of Canada, but these claim to be the best in NW Ontario. m

Hey Mikie:
Mikie is exactly right. Canadian Haven sits across from my cottage. IT is where I go to rent a boat when I have more company than I can accomodate in my boat. Plus....this is a good camp with great owners and family friendly. You won't go wrong staying there.

Indian Point Camp on Wabigoon has a couple larger rentals designed to fit the needs of the Muskie guy

Walsh Bay Store Camp, on Lake of the Woods has VERY nice rental boats. bow mounted trolling motors ect...reasonable rates for boats and cabin and right in the middle of high action and a shot at a 50" everytime you hit the water.

I don't think Frank has any rental boats anymore Tom. Possible I didn't help that situation. I bet Frank could write a book about the unlikely ways people have managed to destroy his rental boats.

Yes Tom, I believe Frank did away from the rental boats which ruled me out.

I have stayed at both Canadian Haven and Andy Meyers, indeed, excellent rental boats for both

Witch Bay Camp in North Eastern LOTW's. 17 1/2' Lund 50HP Yamaha 4 stroke, 80# Maxuum Minn Kota Trolling motor on the bow, 2 Lowrances (1 front, 1 Rear), etc... GAS IS INCLUDED! www.witchbay.com

Many places claim they have the best. I think its best to look at everyone with an open mind and you can make up your own mind up. This was a great way- asking on here... go to people who have experience! I have been disappointed before... I wish I would have asked.

LOTW's offers great fishing and Witch Bay Camp is a drive in camp but still extremely secluded with very low fishing pressure. Big Muskie, Pike, Walleys and Smallies.
