Just received an e-mail from Al Nutty, looks like a new Illinois State Record was caught last week from Shelbyville Lake, it went 50 inches and weighed on a certified scale at 38 lbs. and had a 26 inch girth, it still has to be approved. Maybe a forty pounder is not far off. Looks like the year with state records being broken, Indiana and maybe now Illinois, and Kentucky just broke last year. Way to go DNR'S. Good Fishing, Al[:praise:]
