Here is a map and the official announcement!

Jim Saric, publisher, editor and owner of Musky Hunter® Magazine, will present an information packed seminar at the chapter’s January meeting, to be held on Thursday January 10th, 2008 at the Poplar Creek Country Club in Hoffman Estates. It is located at 14oo poplar creek drive in hoofman estates, off moon lake drive in between gold and higgins just east of barrington road. Saric has over twenty-five years experience fishing lakes, rivers, and reservoirs from Minnesota to New York and all across Canada. He has boated more than 100 Muskies exceeding 50 inches in length, the largest weighing 53 pounds. He is also the host and executive producer of the new Musky Hunter® TV show, the first program dedicated solely to the sport of Musky fishing.

Admission

There will be a $10 donation requested at the door for this once-only seminar. All proceeds will be used to fund the chapter's 2008 Youth Outing Weekend to Lac Vieux Desert in northern Wisconsin in October, 2008.

Buffet

A buffet dinner costing $9 for adults and $5 for kids will begin at 6PM, with the chapter’s general meeting starting promptly at 7:30.

Presentation

Upon completion of official club business, Saric will take the podium to share his substantial insight and innovation to help the audience better understand, target and catch more Muskies. An end-of-meeting raffle will take place with hundreds of dollars in prizes and gifts being raffled off to raise money for ongoing club projects in the areas of youth, conservation and fish stocking efforts throughout the Midwest.

We hope you will join us for this memorable evening and the excellent opportunity to hear the foremost authority in Musky fishing share his abilities and ideas to make you a better Musky angler.
