Location: Verona, WI | I was thinking about working on some baits for the first time in a year and want to try some thru wire - anyone know a good source for .062 wire?

Location: Westerville, Ohio | If you have a local welding supply shop, they are usually a great source for .045 or .062 stainless steel wire. Most sell it by the pound in 36" pre-straightened lengths.

Location: Muskegon Michigan | If you think .062 is bad try .078 spring temper. That is what we use on the Deepthreats. I even form the belly hook holders out the stuff. I buy 25 to 50 lbs at a time from Interwire corporation. they have 75 dollar minimum. I also use .057 for our new small shad baits. Kingfisher |
