It sure would be awesome if we could fill the place up.
The meeting starts at 1pm at the Green Bay Yacht Club located right next to the Metro boat landing at the mouth of the Fox River where it enters Green Bay.

The map marker is wrong, the club is on the South East corner of the landing parking lot.
I'll be there, even though we are on a good pike bite right now.

Reelman the meeting will be emceed by Pete Maina. Pete will keep the meeting flowing and also will give his thoughts on the fishery. Tom Betka the research director of Titletown Muskies Inc. will have a power point presentation on the Fox River and Bay. He will basically give an overview of the problems facing this system. Also Dale Strochein will be there giving his views on the subject. Dale has experiences with VHS from fishing in bass tournaments throughout the Great Lakes system. Greg Wells former president of Muskies Inc. International will be there. Greg was one of the original authors of the 54" resolution last spring. Rick Lax will be there showing that there is an alternative to a skin mounted fish.The floor will also be opened up to questions and other points of view. Hope anyone who has an interest in the Green Bay area muskies can make this meeting.
Will Green Bay ever have a fish that is a world record? We will never know if we don't give them a chance to grow.
Come early food will be available at the Yacht Club. The meeting is scheduled to start at 1 p.m.

| Good job Jay, if anyone is wondering about the snow we are suppose to get, they are calling for 3 to 5 inches starting this afternoon ending this evening. So the roads should be ok for tomorrow. Parking is going to be tight, I am going to see if the city will plow part of the boat landing out. If not we will have people directing those people attending for parking spots at the club. Please come and show your support.

If we could attack all issues like this, there would be a guarantee our future could enjoy what we experience all summer long. |

| Guest, Pete does fish out there, I dont want to spoil anything, but you should defiantly keep an eye out for the show he did out there this year with Tilky and Tom McDunnough from this past season.
Being that Tilky is part owner of Roberts Outdoors (Bucher stuff) I thought it says alot about Pete and the kind of guy he is doing a show with Musky Mania Tackle's biggest tackle rival and giving him show time to talk about Roberts outdoors stuff. Not too many guys would put their ego aside like that.
The thing I like most about Pete, is that he is not afraid to stick his neck out for causes he believes in. And thanks also to John Gillespie for giving Pete some show time to talk about these issues. I havent gotten to see them myself, been too busy fishing. But I have had a lot of guys tell me it was a great segment a couple weeks back.
I wish a few more guys with "voices" would use them.
And a big thanks to Tom Betka for doing the presentation. I for one really appreciate his hard work in this effort a lot of man hours involved in what he did putting this together, and during the holiday season.
And to the many others that have helped do what they can. And to the people who make it tomorrow. Hope to see you there! |

| I know alot of guys have worked hard on gathering more information to continue pushing in a positive direction to help preserve this fishery. I won't be able to attend tommorrow due to a family Holiday gathering...BUT....still stand with everyone in full support of preserving this awesome fishery.
It's great to see the growing level of support!!!!

| Lee, that is very awesome that you will be attending tommaro. For someone who boats more 50's in a year then we can all dream about it will be great to have another person on hand who has first hand knowledge about higher size limits and catch and release and what it can do to a fishery. I hope you speak your mind. Thanks for coming and supporting the GB Fishery.
