Posts: 1764 Location: Ogden, Ut | I ain't done yet. A bit of a break in the rather wet (for here anyway) weather pattern we've been having gave me a chance to get back out. The snow had all melted off the ramp and the water temp was a rather uniform 39.5 F. I tried to cast for a bit, but my shoulder told me to stop hurting it. So I put a couple trolling rods out and let the chips fall where they may. One tiger made it's way in to say hi and splash me in the face w/ water upon release. If it doesn't snow too much to render the ramp unusable, I should be able to go for another full week or two. S. Posts: 85 | Another pretty one, nice fish Sorno! I love the girth tigs carry as seen in the release photo, doesn't matter where they're from or when caught, all thick and so neat looking. Not like I can go there, so may I ask what lake? Pineview as often is the case? Reason I ask is my boss is from Utah so if I can show him these pics and tell him about the lake he gets all excited and interested and lets me slide with looking at muskie stuff while at work..... Heck, he might let me take a work trip to Utah! Hats off to you, Chris

Posts: 85 | Swim beach on Pineview.....Hmmmmm, I think I've heard that before..... Funny thing is I caught two tigs this year right off the bouys marking the swim area here in the TC metro on my own "Pineview". I see a pattern............ Thanks for the info, and congrats again, Chris

South Fork arm, off the most westerly end of the swim beach, baby Depth raider (perch) 11' over 26'; about 3.25 mph...but don't tell anyone, ok? first it's Sorno telling everyone on the internet about these wanna-be muskies then k2muskie decides to promote it in this month's Musky Hunter. next? the place will be swarming with hordes of meat-hunters by next week! truly one of God's Great Places. Posts: 13 | sorenson - 12/6/2007 6:32 PM Well, it's not so bad, that is if you can put up with the wind... ;) Soooo, how bad do the wind/waves get at Pineview, 2' waves or 4+' waves? Never been there, but thinking I need to check it out when my wife drags me up to her sisters in Clearfield. Can I get away with a 14' jon boat or do I need the 17' fiberglass boat? Is shore fishing an option at Pineview, shore choked out with weeds? Thanks, Dan

Very nice man, but don't keep it up too long though, or I'll drive all the way over there from Iowa!!! I'm starting to get the itch really bad and its not even officially winter yet.
