We will never know what the Biggest Fish for any given year is because there are 100's of folks out there who catch big Muskies but never report them, They either don't know what they have, don't read Musky Boards or like some of us on this board just don't post sizes of the fish we catch.
So the correct question should be,
What/Where was the biggest fish reported in 2007

I'd say the 57 incher caught by Jimmy Willison is sure in the running, but it was a Canada fish, I believe. m

Has anyone ever saw the picture of the musky louie Spray has in his book. The pic I believe was from the late 1800's or early 1900's. There are two gentlemen standing next to it. Unless they were midgets, it makes all the fish I ever saw in pics look like tadpoles!!!!!

58" Wisconsin fish?? Wow, that's quite an accomplishment..

I was curious about the same thing, I was wondering if there were any 50lb+ fish caught, I felt like I saw more last year, especially a few late in the year from Mille Lacs that were just giant in both length and girth. A couple of my buddies had "guide confirmed" 50 lbers lost at boatside on Eagle Lake in the fall, but they got away and don't count...

The largest fish registered in the Muskies Inc. Lunge Log this year was a 60 inch fish from Lac Seul.
