Will be looking at getting a chip for my Garmin Bow Mount Chartplotter. Want to make sure I get the chip that has most up to date 'hump' info.

I have a hot spots that is missing alot of those hidden humps. I have the paper version of a map with all the GPS coordinates, but am thinking there must be a chip that has humps that exist that are not even idicated on that map.

Any recommendations would be great.

Thanks,
Manta18

As for me the only choice in chips is the Lakemaster! I bought mine this summer and it is just awesome. The details and markings on the chips are frickin spot on and you can rely on them. I also always carry a paper map as well however. Never know when the electronics are going to go on the fritz. Get the Lakemaster and you will love it!

I like Navionics, the color coding they do with the shallow water to deep water is nice for when traveling at higher speeds. Always drive in the white and be cautious in the blues. The lake master one is nice also but I just prefer navionics for the V.

But in this gentleman's case, it is for a bow mount. I would also say lakemaster as well. Detail is better, especially if they have done the 1-foot contours...or even 3-foot contours.

I am looking at a bowmount chartplotter as well, just due to fishing more open water...and..if I find a good gps at a decent price with a mapping feature, I will be getting lakemaster for it as well..
