Location: Des Moines IA | Only caught 3 fish this year so it was kind of a tough year, fuzzy, Depth Raider, and a sucker Edited by MuskieMike 11/29/2007 3:57 PM

Posts: 785 | Wow, a fairly large amount of votes for topwater. Not one fish in my boat this past season came on topwater, of coarse during all the hot feeding windows we were throwing tails/plastics. Did have one monster 50+ follow a double topraider, and a mid forty clear the water after a humper, that was it though.

Posts: 300 Location: Minocqua, WI | First year of really fishing Muskies. Caught two, and lost a monster on the WI river while wading. Both of my catches came on a Bucher 500 mini buck. One was like a 25" and the other was a low 40". My loss came on a black Mepps musky killer it was a 40" class fish. Took my friend out for Muskies for his first time ever in Vilas co. in June, and I assisted him by putting him on two fish on the same day. 33" and 29". He got both of his on a small Buchertail 500. He was a happy camper, nonetheless. andrew Edited by AndrewR 11/29/2007 7:46 PM

Posts: 3242 Location: Racine, Wi | Spring time the weagle was shining for us. Then the dawgs took over late spring/early summer. Then the flasher and flies took over for summer. Late summer was the double tens and weagles. Fall turned back to the dawgs and kick'n minnows. Late fall was suckers. | ||

Posts: 605 Location: Marshfield, WI | I added Microdawg. First fish of the year came on one. I got 34 total and caught fish on 11 bait categories. I caught fish on a lot of different baits(a lot of baits that had never caught one for me before) throughout the year but gliders were hot for me the last month of my season. Krishna

Posts: 1296 Location: WI | I caught 15 this season. 4 or 5 on a Rumbler, 1 on a teasertail, 3 on a Suick, 5 or 6 on bucktails, and the 3 biggest (36,40,50) on 10 inch Believers.

Posts: 617 Location: Clintonville, WI | Double Cowgirls, Mag Dawgs, Hellhounds all produced multiple fish each. Had one of these snapped on roughly 95% of the time. I only tossed my fave 6" Reef Hawg about 20 times due to the success of the above baits, but it produced my '07 biggest @ 44". ** Topwater and crankbaits saw little time thus had poor results (or is it the other way around??) this year. Zippo on suckers this year for the first time. I was well below average for # of different baits used (Tuffy1 and Magnumusky will have a hard time believing that)............but had an average year for fish caught.

Posts: 38 Location: Port Washington, WI | Dawgs worked well for me this year accounting for 6 or 7 fish. Got a couple on a XX and a couple on small cranks. Moved a lot of fish on gliders and topwater but could get them to bite. Maybe next year.
