| I am in the process of restoring a 1988 Ranger 680C, and I was wondering if anyone knows if they made a removable rear casting deck for this year. I have seen them for newer ones but don't know if they were made for my year. Also, if anyone has one for my model year I would appreciate any help on measurements, and how they are hooked on to the boat, so I could make one myself. Any pictures would be appreciated too.
Thanks
Dave
p.s. you don't think Ranger would have any lying around the back of the warehouse do you????..... |

Location: Kronenwetter, WI | For what they charge, you're better off building your own. I'm no handyman, but managed one that works quite well for me. See link:

| That platform looks great, my only problem is that on the passenger side of the boat has no place to rest the board on for support so I will have to figure out a way to brace that side of the platform. I can probably figure something out, but any ideas are appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave

| Where did you get the metal plates for the center brace? They look like Seat bases, but I couldn't find them at Fleet Farm or in the Cabelas catalog. I also checked at Menard's because they also look like they could be some sort of a floor brace. Either way, I was not able to find anything like your picture shows.
Thanks,
Dave
