Posts: 516 Location: Kildeer, IL | I'm having problems with my tilt/trim. It is really struggling to move up and down. It was like this last year, and then I had a shop fill up the fluid. Once the fluid was full, the tilt/trim worked much better. The shop said the seals were blown, and I had to replace the whole unit, because they didn't know who made my tilt/trim. They said that I could keep adding fluid until I get it fixed. I have 2 questions. #1) Where do I add the fluid. There is a little hole that says oil fill, but that appears to be too small. I thought it was going to be a screw that is removed, and then fluid would be added there. #2) Does anybody know anything about the maker of this tilt/trim? Are seals/o-rings available? The side of the unit says Talon Ind. My boat is a 1987 Tuffy Esox Ltd. with a 1987 40 hp Evinrude (tiller). Attachments ----------------  tilt-trim.JPG (53KB - 150 downloads) | ||
