Kingfisher here on the board sells some 12" Talonz deepthreats. I did see he had some 15" deepthreats for sale on the sale/trade area. I have two of the 12". Haven't used them enough to get bit yet (1/2 hr tops of use), but they have a great action.

The new 12" Big Game minnow is awesome, but I've only been using it for a month or so.My all time favorite is the Slammer 10" Deep Minnow. They are now being made in an injected plastic and are super durable. The thump of these baits is amazing.Gook Luck! Steve

Don't read too well do you? He asked about WOOD baits.

Tony, you will find that the best wood trolling baits are pretty spendy...Wishmaster, Talonz, etc.

Beside those, the 10" Slammers (used to be wood) are very nice. The new 12" Big Game looks pretty nice as well.

Franky Baits are tremendous baits as well...built like a tank, great paint jobs and they run well.

Does an 8oz. 18 inch long swimbait count? SuperD 8oz. I have been hearing of a LOT of success on big swimbaits on Mil Lacs in the last week. No reports on my SuperD but I only have a few out right now. I have heard great success with the big Shack Attacks and Mag Dawgs though. Also the big double bladed bucktails are doing well this fall.
Good fishing to you!
