Hi,

Does anyone know when Phantoms became made of plastic instead of wood? I've only used the wood ones. Does anyone have an opinion on the difference, if there is one?

Thanks,

Nick

They came this year, and in my opinion, theyre just as good action wise. Quality wise, they ought to be better, since theyre of plastic. Charm wise, wood is still better

Hi, I know they hold up better and a much more consistent. I especially like the soft tail model.

Todd put a bunch of time into making sure they are the same. I watched him throwing a wood and plastic next to each other and they were exactly the same.

Plus they will last forever. Gotta love a Phantom.
