Posts: 551 Location: Columbus, Georgia | The reels will be serviced and sent back to you within 48 hours after they are received. Shimano has a Service Request Form that you can download from their site. Complete the form by listing any difficulties that you are having with the reel, and if you are looking for general maintenance make sure that you make that notation as well. The cost is around $30 per reel for servicing/maintenance. if there are any additional parts needed ... they will make the repairs. If repairs are necessary, include a copy of your original receipt. If it is within 1 year of purchase, the repairs will be free of charge (yet still the service charge for maintenance/cleaning). All of my reels are TE's or TE DC's. Shimano does a great job with them. Here is a link to Customer Service: http://fish.shimano.com/publish/content/fish/sac/us/en/customer_ser... Craig Edited by cjrich 10/26/2007 8:14 AM

Posts: 33 Location: Chicago,IL | What is the turn around time at Coren's? I have been looking for a good place to get my TE's in for general clean and lube. I don't trust sending 5 reels to CA. and them getting lost in transit. Thanks Bulldawg

Posts: 1636 | Has anyone had any problems with getting reels back? I get my reels cleaned and repaired free of charge by Shimano and sent in a few reels about 2 months ago and have yet to get them back. Thanks! Edited by Reelwise 10/30/2007 11:46 AM

Posts: 551 Location: Columbus, Georgia | Even for reels covered unser a 1 year warranty, I know of no offer by Shimano to clean reels for FREE. How did you swing that? Maybe it's time to contact Customer Service (after no word on your reels for 2 months). Craig
